Would I be OK with SVA? I'm fitting some from a Jag S type into my Libra but just wanted to make sure I will still pass!

Cheers,

No reason other than I could get hold of some.
The easy solution would be spending £500 or so on one of the H4 bi-xenon conversion kits but I fancy a different look for the car too... Whatever you do, some fabrication will be needed to fit the ballast resistor close ot the headlight on the flip front...

Somebody on the GTM forum just told me that in order for Xenons ot be compliant I must have self levelling suspension and washer units. Guess it'll be a post SVA mod then!

I'll be careful
My main problem is getting it all in a sealed enclosure next to the headlight as the high voltage wiring is very short. Not sure if I could extend it much, it's also shielded so I would have to source more of that. I want to get all that sorted out before SVA, I don't think I would have the willpower to not drive it as soon as it has passed. I also want to rubbercoat all the wheel arches before it is driven at all and removing areas of that would be a pain..
