3000s fuel tank

could someone tell me if a fuel tank in a 3000s the same as the M series or is it special to 3000S models.

i imagine that i will be able to remove the tank from Inside the boot. i haven't picked the car up yet but the present owner tells me there are problem with dirt in the fuel. i think it's a case of giving the tank a good clean out. Then put a big filter inline that can be cleaned easily. Maybe Filter King with glass bowl.
I Wonder what the carb is for the V6 engine or were several different models used

what colour is the car in east grinstead and do you know it

hi Andrew,
the East Grinstead 3000S now lives in France and sleeps in my garage, i'm looking forward to driving it in Brittany. Just a few jobs to do first. It has already visited France in the past and gone round the Le Mans circuit.
I think i will be asking a few questions to help me get it running well if nobody minds

i checked out the outriggers before buying and they look solid. The first thing is to give it a good clean, it is so very dirty.

thanks i will check the chassis above diff. If there is a problem is it a body off job or can it be fixed in situ
