Well a great first day we waited near the M25 for the call that the convoy was heading past and joined up with the North Kent group heading up.
The weather fantastic the event also fantastic and the cars up there where amazing i only have a few on the phone so sorry there are not more but the rest are on the camera and cant download until i am home in Kent.
Having now done the Le Man Classic and Silverstone back to back i can say one thing when it come to events like this here in England we do them far better sorry France but the organisation her is just amazing half the day is not filled with thrill seekers paying silly money to go round a track and the racing is so close up maybe not as close as Goodwood but far better than Le Man easy access no passes for this area and this stadium but one ticket that gets you in everywhere.
The place is clean no grafiti on the walls and even the food good value for what you get in comparison so well done Silverstone and Le Man well see those things that cover your feet Pull them up lads wink
There where 7 TVRs racing today in the Chopard Trophy for pre 66 GT Cars and what a great race 3 classes with the Griffiths in group 3 and the Granturas in Group 1

Sorry i dont have the exact results except i know the TVRs did rather well

For those that missed Sunday here is the session with Mike Brewer I must say his Mustang did look fantastic close up and he has done a lot of the work himself never thought he was a grease monkey always thought of him as a Sales man.
Forgive the mistakes I am sure I got a few wrong sadly you don't get a practice run

You may want to scroll though the first 5 min however you may want to fast forward it all hehe

I lasted about 30 seconds..
I used to think Mike brewer was OK. after that I think I just thing he is an under talented over paid wannaby..If you are going to invite someone up on stage to talk then for gods sake let them talk??

you struggled to get a word in Andrew but at least you tried.
N.
That was the case for the first bit but as we had a bet going on with some of the TVRCC members who would have most to say I think you can see if you watch it all Who won hehe
It was all a bit of fun and everyone enjoyed the car as there was only one real star on stage and that was the car so everyone out the with a TVR and especially a Vixen just remember your driving a special little star

I have been asked for Pictures from the club for the Vixen at the show however I don't have any as Camera was being used for the Video.
If anyone has any of the car on stage with Mike preferably without the fat chatterbox in ie just the car with Mike Brewer would be great please e mail me with them however whatever you have is great.
Thanks

Try again. :rolleyes
Very likely there seemed to be some rather different DNA shared among a number of the Griffiths and I suspect that a certain very talented Griffith race engineer has had a part in a number of the cars.
Interesting that the car that a lot of them emulate is just one particular developed car that raced in period and I believe that race is in dispute although I really don't want this to start off another race car discussion as this has been covered elsewhere recently.
But wow they did look fantastic and those tyres make them look like Giant Tonka Toys
