Market prices are skewed due to "asymmetric knowledge".

Those of us in the know know that these cars are invaluable not just due to rarity, but also the character these cars have over other mass produced cars of the same era.

The market seems to think differently:
Not known too well
Dogged by a "bad build quality" image (this is really unfair to the older cars)
Not an E-Type, MGB, 240Z, TR4/5/6
Unknown base/residual values.

We need to see some real market data with some graphs to show market place increase.

The website TVR.at I feel is undervaluing the cars and the car's value which only hurts all the owners.

It is frustrating that dealers buy many of the few cars that come up and then put a massive mark up on them. I don't like it because I don't think it adds anything to preservation of the marque and just skews values which then confuses sellers into thinking their cars are worth more than the true market value.

However, they get them because they're on the ball. If you want one you have to be equally so, move very quickly and possibly even be willing to place a deposit before seeing the car if you can't get to it straight away. It's a risk but ....
Given how rare Pre-Ms are (less than 1000k in total left surely?!) I'm surprised they're all still under £20k - especially when compared to MGs or TRs

These care are due a increase in value - just look at the MGCs!!
