overall is an s2 more desirable? with dual circuit brakes, hydraulic clutch, 4 shock rear suspension (not sure if that has many advantages)
as i understand the s3 doesnt have these features as standard (not sure re the brakes), although by now most will have been altered to some extent

Mine is the last S3. I find it odd that TVR changed from hydraulic clutch on the S2 to cable on the S3, I'd have expected cars to have developed the other way round. It would be interesting to know the reasons. However I have no problems with the cable.
Likewise, I do personally prefer the S2 side vents to the S3, but then the S1 (Grantura) teardrop shape were so much prettier than both. As were the Cortina Mk1 lights compared to the Mk2. What TVR should have built was a lwb Vixen with Mk1 lights, rounded window frames, Grantura side vents and dash switches, overdrive and engine.... well I'm still contemplating that one but a super charged crossflow would have been interesting!

the cortina mk1 lights do really suit the vixen bodyshape
