This car looks fantastic and is exactly what I'm looking for (to go hill climbing) but is out of my price range, even if it went for bottom estimate €25k you have to add the best part of 20% fees and tax and then repatriate the car - too rich for me :-(
The roll cage in there looks like a nice job, who did that?

Hi Warwick what is your budget preparing a car for hill climbing will not be cheap add that to the cost of a standard car and your way into those figures there is no harm in registering to vote its a no reserve auction but I suspect there will be interest from both sides of the channel
The days of a £3k Vixen that you can spend the same again on to Hill Climb etc are sadly over but only sadly for potential owners but not for the cars as higher prices have allowed cars that would have previously sat unloved are now being restored.
There is still a difference between how potential UK owners Value these cars and how our Friends across the channel Value them and until that changes cars will stay over there or move over there.
3x3000s examples alone have gone across the channel in the last 12 months although a fair few Tuscans and Vixens have moved this way as the UK byers have started to Value these models higher than in the past.

hi there, yes I guess buying a half decent car and developing it to that would probably cost about the same as buying it.... I currently run my Cerb in the TVRCC champ and the handicap system means that a relatively undeveloped car could probably give it a run for its money (with the same driver of course!). Doesn't cost anything to stick a bid in, unless you win of course! The days of a £3k Vixen that you can spend the same again on to Hill Climb etc are sadly over but only sadly for potential owners but not for the cars as higher prices have allowed cars that would have previously sat unloved are now being restored.
