3000S electrics

For a while when i started my 3000S sometimes the Rev counter needed a few seconds to kick in and work, strange.
Yesterday i started my 3000S and NO Rev counter, NO Volt meter, NO Temp guage, NO Fuel gauge and i think NO front sidelights.
Is my car suffering from problems with the dreaded Bulkhead connecter
which needs attention.
Just a small detail where is it hidding or perhaps could it be fuses. I have my suspicions because when i bought the car the Ashtray was full of lots of new Fuses
I sure it must be a coincidence.
I will see if someone comes up with sugestions
