Today I was out and about in Essex and called into PR Woods http://www.tvr-prwood.co.uk/ who did a lot of the work on out Taimar Restoration.
While I was there Phil showed me there new equipment as they are now offering Aqua Chroming which I thought may be of interest to others who may want to have something chromed without the normal cost of chroming.
Interesting to see how it can be used on nearly any surface including wood plastic and fiberglass he even had an M Series Fiberglass bumper there that he was experimenting with the fiberglass aftermarket type that a number of people use.
He explained that the process is very different to actual chrome in that its more like a paint surface and should be treated like paint rather than steel so no autosol on these items first time I have seen the process in the flesh rather amazing.

That's impressive stuff I wonder if it peels like the kids toy chrome does when its knocked to reveal the plastic base?
I don't think so Al if the preparation is done like paint then I guess it should not only time will tell but the process has been around a few years now so I guess its developed and improved
