3000S footwell lights?

Morning all,

Apologies (if any needed), but I am still in 'sponge mode'. Here's my latest question.

I'm having to replace the centre console in my 3000S because the existing one is actually from an M.

Thankfully Ian Bannister came up trumps (again), and I now have a replacement. Interestingly though, it has cutouts in the footwell sections presumably for interior lights (although one has been blanked with a piece of chequer plate).





Is this normal? I've not seen this before on web photos, but possibly they're tucked out of sight.

Sorry to hear about your woes John. Not the first instance of M Series bonnet catch failure I think? Hope all is sorted soon!
