Does anyone know where replacement Rocker switches can be found for a 1976 3000M.
They are iluminated with a chromed plastic surround. The hole size for they to fit in is 28mm x 43mm. Are they the same as for MGB's
thanks in advance
Alan

TVR by BVR said:
I am sure that they are the same as used in many British cars from that area, I do carry some in our inventory for MGB and Midget, we are located in Canada so it is not exactly next door you should be able to find them closer to home.
Hi BVR,
if you have some Switches please contact at <alan.barker@orange.fr>. with info.
Many thanks

I found some Switches from "Northwest Import Parts" BUT they don't export. Strange when it's parts for a MGB which was imported. Well maybe they don't need the business

Sorry but my first port of call was Adrian and he doesn't have any in stock. But can rework old switches. If "Northwest" could or will supply to Europe at least that would mean 75% of switches new as original for the following 30 years+.
What i am looking for is New or Old stock

Like i said "Northwest" refuse to export. I sent an e-mail and asked them.
So dare i ask what 3 switches they can be made from even if the contacts at the back are round. Or is it "chase garder".
Do you think one of the TVR fans in the USA could act as a middle man and help us Brits outrolleyes

Lots of ideas which is what the forum is all about. I'm sure my 3000M is not the only one to need the switches refreshingcool

I have several leads at the moment for Switches and when they arrive i will see first if i like them. I prefer to keep my cars looking original as far as possible and will pass on information about replacements once i have tried them.

Just arrived from USA Light switch and Hazard switch price 42.95$ including postage.
Contact <robgarrison@yahoo.com> . Well pleased and just like original, the only thing difference is the contacts on back of Hazard are round which is no problem. For the illumination bulb on back of hazard you will need the mgb bulb holder.
Or MG owners club <andrew.hooper@mgocspares.co.uk> BHA5183 Lights £17.95.
BHA5184 Fan £18.55.
