Fron't screen proving challenging so after failed attempts by so called pro screen fitters its looking like I will have to go back to first principles….
A cautionary note to other restorers..trial fit screens before paint..Don't assume they will fit..Quite a bit of difference between about 3 screens we have tried!!

Wheels are 7j x 15 Zero offset front with 195/65/15 and 8J x 15 with about 10mm offset running 225/60/15 Tyres.
Fronts probably need a little spacer just to massage them out a bit further in the front arch. It could have taken an 8J rim front like the racer but I wanted the steering to remain relatively light for Dad.

I have a garage full of engines and dismantled race car at the mo so I think just concentrating on that for now..there is another project though….its just sleeping waiting for a rainy day.

I Never understand why people want to remove a cam belt cover and risk damaging the drive train….Even a BDA originally had a belt cover. The removed ones tend to bug me…i must be getting old and sensible
I was thinking about a BDA cover but they are v expensive considering they are just for show..
I wanted to make it look as much as a production install as possible. I hope I have achieved this.
Hopefully will get a screen in this week.

Couldn't quite master it on these placcy cars
Mic-ing up bores etc and having a good tidy up then a nice build for a proper season next year me thinks!!
