Having agonised over this decision for some time I have finally admitted to myself that my Vixen needs a new owner. I would rather not sell it to a Dealer or investor but to a TVR (classic) enthusiast. Can I ask all on here where would be the best place to advertise it? I'm not keen on ebay and auctions are out of the question .I'm a lapsed TVR club member and have few old copies of Sprint which I thought might be OK or maybe PH. Never been able to post an image on PH but Neil R knows the car, he's always been my saviour.I'd welcome views but be gentle with me, I already feel like a traitor.

Hi Neil, Thanks for posting the pics and thanks also for your valuation. If I were twenty years younger there's no way I would let it go but time has taken it's toll and I feel the Vixen needs a younger driver. I don't do face book or any of the other 'ones' (sorry, don't no what word to use) I do get the ebay suggestion and that the car would reach various forums so something to think about.

Many thanks Neil and you other guys for your kind words. I'm going to put the Vixen on PH sometime tomorrow and see what happens. I was shocked at the valuation. I thought it was worth considerable less, perhaps 14 or 15k if I was lucky. I'm clearly out of touch. I'll use your lower estimate in the advert and if it sells I'll send a nice bottle of something up to you.
