Nice conversion, how on earth did you make the match?
Can't rememberp to be honest, Think I "Googled" finned brake drums and these came up, said they were 9" and a bit more Googling came up with matching 4.5" PCD, from there I thought I'd take the chance! GAjon said:
Are they a straight fit as original?

Did the back plate need modification?
Centre bore needed opening up a bit and had to tweak things a bit to clear backplates.Once the centre hole had been opened out the drums very nearly fitted but were fouling on face marked with yellow arrow. Not having ready access to anything as useful as a lathe (I filed the centre holes out by bolting together back to back with a Triumph drum) I ground the lip off level with the fins, red arrow.
This may sound incredibly crude to some of you but I was then able to get an angle grinder in with one of those emery flap disc things and take a little bit off the yellow face, enough to get things spinning free.
May be one day I'll find a friendly little machine shop that can tidy the job up
Ebay link to new pair of drums to show suitable donors..... clicky

I was going to look at switching to MGB rear drums…
Unless you can convert to or "adapt" a front brake twin leading shoe set up from something or other I think you'll be wasting your time... Trailing shoe does next to nothing whether you have sliding cylinder or fixed twin piston, imho.
