Vixen diff... again!

I was chatting to a tech guy on the Quaife stand at the Autosport show last week. He was taking me though the workings of the Quaife ATB diff which was really helpful and also much easier to understand when he's holding one with cutout's to show you.
Lots of posts comment on the standard diff being a weak point. What I can't find referenced anywhere is what bit(s) actually fails. Would the crown and pinion also need upgrading or is that not a potential weak point?

All the bearings essentially Pinion shaft and crown wheel teeth, drive flanges, flange bearings etc etc..…either failure or general wear…
The diff is just one part and its pointless changing it if the rest is u/s
