I notice from the taxdisc website that this car is no longer taxed. It was mine in the early 1970s and was blue. It is now registered as red.

Does anyone know what happened to it?

Hi Jerome,

Thank you for your post. I bought my 2500M new in 1972 just prior to VAT. I used to live in Timperley sour of Manchester. I think I owned it for several years driving around the local area on business before the motorways were built. I sold it when I moved to Clanfield near Portsmouth when I only needed to commute to Cosham.

Here is a photograph from the old days. I am the bearded one at the back. In Sprint July 2014, in the articles on old Sprints, I appear on the cover of Sprint No: 19 July 76.
