Seems i am in Aus the very weekend this is held, Staying just outside Sydney, so anyone been?
Its my first visit to Aus, gotto go for a family wedding and wouldnt mind getting away for a days racing.

Well looks like this is happening, thanks for all the tips people, i have a hire car so gonna drive up early sunday morning and watch the race, its only gonna be me and the gf going so i dont think tickets should be a problem.
I am in a place called Campbelltown and looking at the maps its about 2 & half hours away.
Really looking forward to this now.

Seems tickets are more of a problem than i first thought, sunday is completly soldout! !!!
So now on the hunt with locals here and flea bay, fingers crossed.

Right tickets bought, had to get em via ebay so lets hope they arrive, paid about face value as all tickets for sunday are now sold from what i could find on the net.

Well its building for the weekend here! tickets arrived no problem, renewed my confidence in ebay i can say, even got paddock access.
Planning on setting off for the mountain track early sunday morning as i am only going for the race itself. Will try and keep you posted on what i find, sounds like a Aussie Le Mans style event

Well the excitment is building here! They have reports and interviews on nearly all radio and tv stations here, just cant imagine this sort of coverage for a motor race event at home , they really seem to know how to build up the excitment.
Weather looks good too, was 30 plus here yesterday ! !

Well just got back from the mountain , Wow is all i can say what a place, 205k record crowd, just spend the day with the lot of em, they love this race! and i mean really love it , will post up my thoughts in themorning to worn out now
