There were lots of them racing a few years ago in the G50 cup, Britcar and British GT but it seems that many have disappeared. Are they sitting in garages for some reason, have they been converted to G55 (is that possible) or what? I always thought that they seemed to be good value race cars and there must have been a reasonable number built.

Considering the donnington race to warm up for britcar later in the year. Anyone else doing it?
You will be very welcome. No other G50s entered that I know of yet but it's not a bad grid for a mid season taster for a potential new series. Remember, it's List 1b tyres.

I am hoping that a few G40s and 50s join in for next year, because they will be very competitive.

CSCC is running another "New Millenium" series race at Snetterton on 20th October if you want to try that.

There were 15 cars on the grid for the first ever race of this potential new series on Saturday which we were pretty pleased with for a first event. The cars ranged from a couple of TVRs and BMWs through Clio Cup cars to Ford Pumas. The driving standards were excellent and all really enjoyed it. We have had enquiries from a couple of Ginetta owners for the 18 Oct race at Snetterton and I know that the TVR guys would love to take on a few Ginettas!

G50s are now eligible for AMOC GT4 Challenge, I assume asking as to homologated spec. 1 hour races I think and some are British GT supports.
