FIA MGB Assistance Please

I am planning on purchasing a pre 1966 MGB Roadster to run firstly in the Classic Hillclimb Championship and then (finances permitting) possibly run later in historic racing to FIA Appendix K. The modifications I can use for hillclimbing are pretty open but I believe the Appendix K mods are tightly regulated so to save money later if I decide to go racing can anyone advise what the best/normal modifications for Appendix K are?
