So with only 2 rds to go and only 6 races left its the last chance for shedden and plato to gain points on the bmw and with this track not a good one for the Hondas and good for mg think its end of the road for shedden.

Plato really needs to win both first and 2nd race with a good finish in race 3 to have any chance for the last rd and needs turks to have some bad luck otherwise we might see the title rapped in this weekend.

Oh and new driver for this weekend is luke hines replacing glynn geddie in the 2nd Toyota at UA.

My first time to BTCC this weekend, can't wait, any pointers on the day.

Is it a busy day, been to Moto GP the last 2 yrs and it's busy busy, any ideas if like this, are there normally big traffic ques to get in, do the grandstands get full early and stay full all day.

As I said , first time and welcome and help.
Havent been there for a good 4 years but traffic wasn't to bad as soon as you get onto the main road right outside its fine. I didn't find it to busy when I went there last so shouldn't be to much of a problems crowds wise anyway nothing like f1 or moto gp levels.

Grandstands will be busy but will get a seat somewhere if you leave and come back etc.

Could be some close racing tomorrow 23 cars separated by 1s, 2 mgs, 1 bmw, 1 ford and the 2 passats in the top 6 all look very evenly matched could be anyones chance to win, really impressed with ingram this year in the Toyota consistent and qualifys well too. Also both morgan and rob Austin in the top 10.
One im disappointed with is gio 19th place behind the 3 Hondas.

Hondas down the field but don't let that fool u can be quicker in the race just look at last years epic battle between plato and Jordan in race 2.

Oh and before people start saying how bad that the Hondas are so far down they are half a second down from the mg at rockingham they were 0.6 down from mg, knockhill the same as for the rest of the season bar the first 3rds.
Its not they are slow its the times are so close makes them look even slower. Think they will be in the top 10 throughout each race.

The starting lights are usually out of sync with the main picture tbh.

Not a bad race with some good battles. Shame Turkington didn't give Plato a race, but you can't blame him.
If plato had he would have got a penalty no penalty no jump start, as said pic out of sync with the lights.

Not a bad first race close and clean couple of taps nothing to major, good clean move from plato getting back past turks then controlled the pace surprised Jackson didn't have more of a go.

Good battles down the field and good race from marc hynes in 7th best result of the year.

That's one hell of a mess, collard out down to the medical office still no replay of the accident. Looks like a wright off for that car but more importantly hopefully rob is ok and not injured biggest crash this year.

Reports suggest Shedden made a move and hit Clarke into the path of a completely innocent Collard.
From the replay shedden is no where near clark now I not a fan of shedden but don't think that had anything to do with him.

Actually just paused at 6s and can just see sheddens car.

What a surprise plato makes a move and yes made contact with turks it then opened up everything and had a great battle over the next lap or so and everyone is fking moaning again. He made 2 perfect moves on turks in race 1 and 2 and had to do that move in race 3 are nothing would of happened in the rest of the race.

Im more bored of the constant moaning, bhing about certain drivers not just on this forum but others. These threads used to be good fun during the race with good banter and after the race was good with anyalsis and a bit of piss taking each side but friendly.

This year im really struggling to be bothered creating these threads anymore.

Back to the races race 1 and 2 very close up front not much in the way of battles but this is what happens when the engines are very similar to each other brilliant moves by plato on turks surprised turks let it happen twice though. Race 3 wasn't as smart a move from plato but it had to be done and it opened up a great battle between that group which could of gone either way.

Turks that was a world class drive this weekend done everything he needed to do to negate points loss from plato. Tordoff another disappointing last race and tordoff and his family are not happy according to twitter.

Holland hope he has apologised to cole after the replays.

Honda not just this rd but since oulton park been really poor and I don't think its all down to boost, neal I truly believe has lost his drive and shedden that's another story.

Also the protons what a nightmare this season has been both have gone backwards bad decision to change engines otherwise they be mixing it in the mid field.

Really happy to see Jackson back to his self as with motorbase and good to see clark getting a good rd too. Also great rd also for bmr all 4 cars in the top 10 warren scott has done a great job with the team and can see them becoming a top team next year with smith and if menu stays on.
