under 1750cc track car

Hi I'm looking to start the new pocket rocket class in time attack for 2015 but I'm unsure of what car to start with just wondering if anyone on here can suggest anything at the moment the main contender is a Saxo vts but your help would be greatly appreciated

From the looks of it you don't have to have mega power as they are saying you could in theory run a road legal everyday car I have an impress and am in the middle of purchasing a s4 but want something I can learn to drive on the track before I build the impreza but I want to be competitive without spending mega money as I want to build the impreza to race in the future
