Thought i'd show you motorsport chaps this. I'm in my final year at uni studying Automotive engineering with motorsport, perfect for PHer really!, and we frequently get use this.....
It's an F1 spec driving simulator and sits on 6 (very powerful) hydraulic rams. The realism is insane! Every aspect of a cars dynamics is simulated including pedal feed back and steering feel. It can make you feel very sick as a passenger as it really throws you around. Especially in ahem..high speed accidents Today we were using a 997 gt3 rsr around the track Kyalami. Was my first time in the car so struggled to get more than 9 seconds within the lap record pretty much any track or car can be programmed into it with ridiculous precision. Anyway here's some more pics
A quick shot of the pit wall where we can study full driver input and car telemetry.......
And a pic of both together in action
Hope you enjoyed!
