What do we think the real reason is behind this then?

I think most cars have received some upgrade during this break. Not sure exactly what to who, but the Citroen has had cosmetic upgrades to the front and arches. Looks more flares around the headlights.

Well as its been 6 weeks since Mexico I am really looking forward to this one! Bad weather in the area has made the stages extra rough (Causing the longest stage to be shortened), but it should be quite a challenge.
Ogier will still win though!

Cash and or staff issues.
I would say both, M-sport are probably owed a bit of money for parts..Not that it means a lot but results from last nights super special

such a shame for Ogier , Perhaps I need to predict the VW Sweep every round
Although I bet he will somehow find the engine issue related to him running first on the road
cracking stage 2 by Paddon it seems
M-Sport duo Evans & Tanak keeping it clean and tidy in 4th & 5th
SS4 gets under way in just under an hour (if you open the wrc radio browser it has the local time displayed in there, so handy to know stage start times)

Hayden Paddon finished with broken engine mounts, a suspected broken driveshaft and a holed turbo pipe. And the Kiwi was still fifth quickest!

Impressive to get through the stage at all considering the list of damage! Engine mounts broke 3km into the stage which probably caused the rest - broken gearbox mount, no oil left in the gearbox, broken driveshaft, broken exhaust manifold, exhaust system almost falling off completely...WRC Website said:
