Dan Cammish: how good is he, really?
Discussion
Hello Dan. Belated welcome to PH.
It’s a shame that pole-lap was disqualified due to a rule infringement. As you say, a real achievement after several seasons in rear engined rear wheel drive.
I’ve been very impressed by pretty much everything you’ve done since that extraordinary performance in Formula Ford. I started this threat because I was surprised/disappointed not to see your name being mentioned in this forum.
Although it would have been great to see your talent on the international stage, I think the BTCC will be a good way to raise your profile in British motorsport. Hopefully the team can get the car setup issues sorted in for the next round of the championship.
Fingers crossed for a successful campaign, this season and the years to come.

I certainly wouldn't bet against him. If the car comes on well, he's one of about eight or nine drivers with a realistic shot this year. Loving it!
I would love to see him take the championship. The car is competitive, and he seems to have adapted quickly to front wheel drive. However the rules (success ballast & reverse grids) make it impossible to predict how the season will pan out.
