It's a shame they couldn't get the Mercs to work, they certainly had potential.
Agreed, I only found out through the post aboveAs for TV coverage I don't know who's showing it in the UK but if you can manage to stream/steal/buy coverage from here you'll find there's over 30 hours of it from Thursday through to Sunday via Sky
Local TV coverage has had a big shake up, even though it was only day 1 practice we had 9 hours broadcast live, every support race was featured (cracking line up) with in-car cameras for each series and we had a full commentary team featuring Mark Skaife, Neil Crompton, Russel Ingall, Greg Murphy and the Lovely Riana Crehan.
If you get coverage then make sure you watch the Stadium Trucks race, bonkers stuff........

Ominous, those triple eight cars look like they'll be the ones to beat this year.
You're not wrong, they're in a class of their own right now, Shane Van Gisbergen not mucking around in stamping his authority either, 3 wins and a 2nd over the weekend11 days until the next meeting, Tasmania, tiny 1.5 mile track with two decent straights and a tricky section in between, usually produces great racing

My view for SVG is the aggression is to force the overtake rather than use skill like the other guys do...
If you'd said that about Dave Reynolds or Jamie 'bump-pass' Whincup I'd agree with you, but IMO (unless something has changed this year as I haven't watched it recently) SVG has and uses more skill than most of the field.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
