I compete in 4x4 races. These are on timed laps rather than head to head and we have been having some problems with our current system.

General concensus in the club is that transponder timing would be the way forwards. Ideally the club would rather pay someone to come and do the timing and provide the equipment. Does anyone know of a Company that does this?

Exactly the same and we are currently using a beam finish system. However the number of errors are too high, some human and some caused by dust triggering the beam.

I assume as transponders work in of road bike racing that they would work in our sport.
