Jubilee'ed to the top wishbone - asking for it to fall off - surelly needs to be on the chassis?

Its really the only place it can go. If you look at the near side there is no clearance with the exhausts. And on the off side if you were to mount it on the chassis rail it would be right next to the exhausts, which you don't want. So we put them on the wishbones. Its only going to 'fall off' if you rip a corner off the car - in whih case the damper is in big trouble anyway...
Cool - nice one Andy. Could you not put some longer flex hose on and have on the chassis rails between the two top wishbone connection points.

Have to come see some races this year, when not clashing, will be 2+ year b4 I have mine ready!

Andy how many dampers do you run on the rear?

...strange question - one on each corner. I think it will be hard to find a car that doesn't have the remote resevoirs strapped to the lower wishbone at the rear, other than those like Chuggabooms where the remote cannisters form part of the main casting.

Yes you can have the hoses lengthened but you would still struggle to mount them on the chassis on the near side due to the proximity of the exhaust.

If there is an advantage to putting the cannisters on the chassis then it is pretty marginal, or every car would already have them there...

All TVR's susppesion point I have looked at have on the back the attachment points for a second set of dampers / spring. All Original Griffs had them and my car does.
