Who from PH is going to the Spa 24 hours? If so, stop by and say hi to Sean and I am sure if he is not too busy he can show you round the car! smile

Porsche have loaned out factory driver Sascha Maassen to be the third driver for the Tech 9 squad at the Spa 24 hours later this month. Porsche superstar Sascha Maassen, who drives the Penske Porsche RS Spyder in ALMS, will be driving along side regulars Sean Edwards and Leo Machitski, for the blue ribbon FIA GT event.

“I am looking forward to it. I hear Sean is very good. We could do well, especially if it’s wet” Sascha told Autosport.

“I really can’t wait for this event now, it will be my first 24 hour race and to have Sascha driving along side me is just amazing. I am really looking forward to learning as much as I can off him and hope we can get a really good result” Commented Sean.

Tech 9 will be hoping for a good result at Spa, as so far this season, the luck has not seemed to be with them.

Yeah, it's a good 24 hour race indeed. Spa is an awsome track, my favorite in the world!

Yeah I think paddock is open to public guys, like normal FIA GT events. Just ask a team member to find me if I am not around and regards to tuition, yeah come and have a chat or send me an e-mail to info@seanedwards.eu.

Legand, sure...

He liked to think he would drive I guess, because we never told autosport that.

Thanks guys!!

Yeah, I did set the fastest lap in our car, at around 1am.

Leo did the best job he has doen all year, which was great, only 3 seconds off me! We alll just drove an easy enough pace and kept it out of the pits/walls and got a great finnish in out first 24 hours smile

Good to see Leo is improving, that will make your life a little easierwink, even in the changable conditions you must be chuffed to get a faster time than Sascha. Cheeky question: why is the italia porsche so fast and any chance of you getting what their've got?
Well the first 12 hours of the race was dry and I did set our fastest lap, which is nice yep.

We could do their times yes, but we did not have all 3 drivers as strong as them, so we decided to keep a bit slower and consistent, keep out of trouble and try to finnish the race, hopefully on the podium. They were flat out all the race and took some big risks, it paid off, but could have gone very wrong...

We lost 5 min changing pads as well, one of the pistons got stuck.
