Question is, who will ITV rely on to do the commentry for the 2008 season.

I had heard a rumour that ITV were trying to get Ben Edwards to partner Martin Brundle, though I have no idea how true this is, but with the spat between MB and Mad Max over the last week, will MB even get a media pass to enable him to commentate.

I think its a universal thought that no one would miss James 'the cock' Allen, but might they have to rely on him to provide continueity IF MB is prevented from attending the races.

Then there is the matter of the pre/post race shows, I like Mark Blundel, but I think Steve Ryder is as much use a chocolate brake duct, but I cant think who I would like to see replace him.

Thoughts or discussion?

Another vote for Ben Edwards and John Watson, perhaps with Martin Brundle mobile around the circuit like Randy Mamola does in MotoGP.

A little less pizzaz as said previously, but a little more use of the "red" button for digital viewers.
Ben Edwards yes, but not John Watson, I was looking forward to his views when Sky had the coverage, and personally hated him as a commentator, he was too dry, too opinionated, and it was almost as if he was always insinuating he would have done better.

Have BE with MB in the box, Peter Windsor was pretty handy in the pit lane too, so he would be a welcome addition, O, and as was said earlier, mmmmmmm, Beverly Turner, she was a welcome sight at 4am on a march morning.
