More roads need decent road studs.

We have just had a road resurfaced near us and they have installed a new type of road stud that I haven't seen before. They look a bit like the ones in the image below.

They seem much brighter and seem to work over a wider angle - even without full beams on.



I was thinking how much safer the roads would be (especially unlit ones) if we had proper, efficient road studs. The older type "cats eye" type seem to loose their efficacy over time.
