Hello!

I picked up my new car on Monday but not had much of a chance to drive it, until now. So, had the first long run in the car last night. 200 miles, left Lymington at 18:30 and arrived in Falmouth at 22:30, that included a 30 minute stop for dinner! Pretty quick! Had a fantastic run, even discovered the car has bluetooth so that's cool. Handles amazingly and has soooo much power! Overtaking is effortless! And she's beautiful! biggrin I'm absolutely loving the car. Even managed to average 28 MPG on the way down to Cornwall which I'm impressed with! We did have a few blasts too so didn't drive like a granny the whole way.

My girlfriend and I spent a couple of hours cleaning, polishing and waxing her today and then took it down to the quay for some photos. Then as soon as we'd finished taking photos, it started raining! Still, at least it held off until after we'd waxed it. I'll let the photos do the talking…. (there's loads!!)

Awesome car, never seen that color before!
Thanks. It really is awesome! I didn't think it would sound so good!!

The colour is very rare, apparently only 7 were made in this colour!

I'd love one of these, infact a (lesser) z4 will hopefully be the next car! Absaloutely beautiful, and I love the colour!
Thank you! I'm so pleased! It's my first properly fast roadster and I'm thrilled. I chose it over an SLK 55 AMG and I'm pleased I did.

I haven't had time to clean the interior yet, but that's seprang bronze leather (I think that's what it's called!) and looks great with the blue.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Very pleased!

Cheers for the tip for the stubby aerial. Link won't work ony iPhone but I'll look it up. I did think today it was too big!!

Yeah, I didn't drive the SLK, as I was so happy with the Z4 M. I think I'd miss the manual box!

Get some E46 CSL wheels on it! They complete the car perfectly IMO, all because of Beedub? (I think) his supercharged one with those wheels is perfection! Lovely car fella! Look after it
Yes, I have my eye on some. Just quite a lot of money! His car is stunning! I remember seeing that a while ago.

that is well nice

are you sure it's not Carbon Black? - cos thats dark dark dark blue with a hint of black too?
Thanks.

I was told it was Monaco Blue. I think my photos make it look a lot darker than it is in reality as it was quite dark when I took the photos. It definitely looks more blue than black in reality.

Thanks! I am loving it! Well, after seeing it up close, it definitely looks more like Monaco Blue than Carbon Black. I think it's just that it was quite dark when I took the photos and as the car was so shiny it causes a lot of reflection, making it look more black. I'll check once we're back from holiday.

Lol!

I'll try and get some photos in bright sunlight with my circular polarising filter in to eliminate reflections to try and bring out the colour.

I like that Z4, very different colour.

Thanks everyone!

Just struggling to justify CSL wheels at the moment. There's some on eBay for £1,500 with fairly worn tyres.

At the moment I need new tyres. Trying to decide whether to go for winters or a set of Continental Contact Sport 5 P's.

im in love!!!

CSL wheels really do work well on these plus their lighter than the stock 18s?? ;-)
Such a compliment from the man himself! I have wanted a Z4M ever since I saw your videos! Would love a ride in your car. Out of interest, what tyres do you have and what have your experiences been in the winter?

Bought some new Continental Contact Sport 5P tyres for it. Mmm, grippy! Looking forward to our local PH meet tomorrow night. I'll try to get some good interior and under bonnet photos.

And finally some interior photos. It has the extended leather option (leather A pillar, windscreen surround, centre console and rear compartment as well as the seats), individual leather, sepang bronze on the seats and carbon effect leather on the dash.

Well, we've found a stunning house locally which is perfect for us, so if our offer is accepted, I'll be forced to sell the Z4M unfortunately. frown

I hadn't planned to sell so soon, but this house is too nice to pass on really. It's heartbreaking to have to let it go, but needs must.

I've put an advert up on Pistonheads, so we'll see how it goes.

Well, after selling the Z4M nearly exactly 5 years ago, I've just bought it back!

The lady I sold it to still owned the car and had only covered around 6000 miles.

I'm so pleased to have it back!!

I don't have the M but absolutely love our Z4 roadster.
It's unlikely we'll get the new shape when we change as we're looking at the X2 when it eventually comes out but they are fantastic cars!

Do you know how many examples of your car they did in that colour?

Thanks!

I believe it's one of 7 in Monaco Blue in the UK.

Been out in it today. Wow, it's so powerful! So much wheelspin! Absolutely love it. I don't think I'll ever sell it again!

Looks lovely!

Did you manage to pay less than you sold it for 5 years ago? As these must have appreciated over that period!
No, paid about the same.
