sorry steven
and Frank, I first jet wash the car, then add a layer of snowfoam, followed by another jet wash then hand wash using Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax and rinsed off with jet wash again. then I clayed the car with Meguiars clay bar kit. Next sep was a machine cut using various grades of Menzerna cutting compound. I then sealed the paint with Carlack 68 - Long Life Sealant. Next step i changed the pad on the machine polisher and used Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish, then lastly I used Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue, applied by hand (which I may add it was very hard to resist eating it and omg it smells so nice lol)

@scotty: the normal exhaust mount normally just wear. Ktec used to do solid exhaust mounts but I've noticed they have stopped selling them. But they arn't megga money so I just changed them from the old ones when I upgraded the exhaust. The old ones had been on the car for 8 years anyway
I've got that Poorboy's Nattys Blue Wax, and how hard was it for you to resist from eating it? lol
I'll buy some of that Black Hole stuff and give it a go....as to the AG Super Resin Polish, where do I get that from? I use a website called cleanyourcar.co.uk for all my products and tbh, I cant fault them. Very good on price and decent delivery cost

Can you explain a bit more about the "remap with Over Run", I presume you mean there is increased fuelling mapped on the closing throttle to induce popping and bangs from the exhaust?
Pretty much except from my understanding (being good friends with JMS) its all to do with ignition timing rather than dumping fuel in, it also lifted the rev limiter from 7,200 to 7,600 rpm (Its perfectly safe, the F4R engine can rev all the way up to 8,200 rpm or so without damage. It happens between 4k-5k. Some people say its uncontrollable but I disagree. If I don't want it to pop then i just change down a gear at a certain point or drop the clutch. Sounds great on the up-shift. Can get abit too much when coming down the revs though. There are plenty of videos on youtube floating about. Just search JMS Pop and Bangs. Its not to everyones taste but its alot of fun lol and its there if I want it. Basically after you decat a cliosport, you get a flat spot at 5k (when it comes on cams) and requires a re map and being gd friends with JMS i got a decent rate on the map so I thought why not....I don't get why people buy the Trophy tbh. Yes they have nice seats and only 500 made, but they are the heaviest out of all the RS Clios and other than the seats, and a tiny bit bigger spoiler what's so special about them. Can i ask (having owned one) why you decided on the Trophy. I don't have the balls to say this on cliosport as it seems people think they are amazing lol

That's a cracking looking Clio, ride height looks just right. I've had my 172 Cup a year now, and although I don't get to drive it much (just over 3K miles in the year), it puts a smile on my face. Massively underated cars, and very reasonable to run, considering the performance.
3k a year...bloody hell lol this is my dailyGassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
