Hello all,

I have replaced my dying Puma runaround with something a bit fancier, an E36 328i. 97,000 miles, 1998 non-sport with a few little upgrades by the previous owner. After fiddling with the suspension for a couple of days, I thought I'd bring them both out into the reasonably dry weather for a wash.

Currently on winter 15s, but I have a set of staggered 17" M3 Motorsport wheels being refurbished ready for next summer.

Current plans are to fit a standard ratio LSD, get the tracking sorted and some general tidying. Several 'ring trip weekends already planned, but I have to remember the Noble is the fun one!

Nice. What is going on with the plate on the Noble?
1958 Essex plate OO3006 with a middle space for neatness. Apologies in advance to the plate nazis.

Yeah I'll trim it tomorrow but to be fair it's my parent's house. I have my own flat but I'm at "home" recovering from a <minor> heart op at the moment.

So, it came with a set of staggered M3 motorsport wheels, which I've had refurbished to OEM spec. The yellow is just protective tape to allow them to be stacked safely.

Nice cars.

More pictures of Tiddles please.
No more pictures, I can say she was surprisingly perky at the weekend and showing a lot more personality. I'm done with that thread though.

I think your tyres are mounted the wrong way around
No, they're not. Made me go out and check though because I swapped them in the dark at 10pm when I got the car!

Ha, no, try April or late March at least, got my winter tyres on and I'm out of the country most of Jan/Feb/March anyway, so might as well wait til then to make a decision on tyres I think.

The BMW is nice, but that Noble is incredible. It must be a strange thing to own, non-petrolheads just see a kit car, but those in the know will recognise them as mini supercars.
Thanks, yeah I've found it to be a bit the other way round to be honest, non-petrolheads don't really know what they're looking at. Some think kit car but others think it's something really really special. Some petrolheads are a bit dismissive and instantly say "bodykitted MR2" or "isn't that a mondeo" and others are really really enthusiastic!
