After many miles of fautless driving, the time has come to renew the family wagon. The E430 had sold the V8 smoothness, but I wanted more power.

So here she is....

I guess you wouldn't be seen dead in one then?

Not taken any pictures of the interior yet, but it's black with dynamic front seats (not sure if they all came with that or not?).

2007 with 45k on it. Wheels are standard issue, and the only thing that lets it down really as some of the polished areas are corroding a little. Will need to get a refurb at some point, but I reckon I will need tyres before that!!

Can't do much about the tints as it has the factory fitted privacy glass.

Well done old chap.

Got the same issue with the wheels on mine. It seems to be starting on the edges of the nut holes.

It's averaging 13 mpg at the moment... 26 is achievable on a run but that's boring.. They seem to run best on Shell VPower.

The dynamic seats are very good once you've figured out which button does what !

Oh and drop the rear windows a few inches when in tunnels and give it some beans for the full aural effect..

Yes, wheel nut holes ware where mine have gone too. I've not tried V Power yet as Shell garages seem to be few and far between round my area. I've been using the Tesco Momentum 99. Averaging around 16mpg, but have seen 25mpg...once!

Superb choice of car yes

How do the seven seats work - I've not seen that before. Do they drop into the boot, or face backwards up against the rear seats?
They face rearwards and fold into the boot floor.

These are in our outgoing E430.

Same driving style required, otherwise she does squirm a little!

Mrs G doesn't like driving them either, but it's auto's in general she has a problem with so I got it anyway.

I have to admit that I leave the drivers door open when I start up. I must get out more!

Have two dogs as well. They have got to know the rear windscreen very well!
