My S1 Elise-photoshoot by kman
Discussion
Had a photoshoot done on Tuesday by kman (user on here-find him in the Herts/Beds etc section) before the Pistonheads meet, someone who knows what they're doing with a camera makes such a difference!
Had it for around 4 months now, done around 1500 miles including popping my Le Mans cherry. The Elise was my childhood dream car (I was nine when it was released) so I thought I'd "live the dream" before having to be sensible with things like "families" and "weddings".
I've no massive plans for the car apart from polish it, keep it, love it and most importantly-drive it!

nice motor
I used to have the same Sony Xplod headunit in my old punto
I need to get the audio sorted out-while I'm not that bothered about it the ability to listen to radio/CD's/MP3's even with difficulty is nice.I used to have the same Sony Xplod headunit in my old punto
The wheels are Speedline Corse-nice and light and apparently rare for the Elise S1.

That looks awesome. Reminds me of my Sport135 I had for a couple of years - sold 1 month before child no. 1 arrived (my wife was struggling to gracefully exit at that point...).
Which is why I'm determined to have mine a/ before kids arrive and b/ paid off when they do arrive so 'er indoors doesn't demand it's sold to pay for milking stations and other sprog related gear.Got the car out of the garage for the first proper run since autumn-a polishing session was called for...
Nothing much has changed apart from doing a track day last weekend-it needs a set of tyres in the not too distant future (the Yokohama AO38's are knocking on for 8 years old now and are starting to wear on the edges quite considerably) and there's a teensy bit of play in the outer rear toe links-not much but I'm fussy so I'm in the process of ordering a new pair.
Here's to a good summer!

Small update-car is now running a set of Avon ZZR's which are excellent and surprisingly good when they're not red hot. Fitted a set of new rear toe links and it's currently with Essex Autosport for a geo setup.
Also got a slightly smaller front plate which still covers the holes for the mounts-it looks much better fortunately because the car is relatively small it disguises the smaller plate quite well-hopefully I won't get any issues.
I'm also hoping the geo will make me fall back in love with it as I'm having selling based thoughts...
