I've owned her since September 2009, but when the rust started to show on rear sills I took it off road to repair. 18 months later I finally found the time!! So last month I spent the time repairing inner & outer sills, and freshening a few others bits up, before getting her back on the road start of this month.

Since selling my Impreza I've been using the Eunos everyday and I love it, had almost forgotten how much fun it was!!! It's a little bit stiff over rough roads, but in this weather, with the roof down - you soon get over it!! Show it a nice road with some sweeping bends and it's magic!!

Sadly I'll be selling up soon as my other half wants a new Roadster, and it's a bit impractical to have two!! Will genuinely be sad to see her go though as I've made her mine, and she's got great character - going for an NC next or an S2k. Looks like we are leaning towards the S2k at the moment though!!

Thanks for looking smile

Thanks smile

I use lightroom for post processing, but in the flesh it has the normal looking reflections!! I use a CPL which cuts out reflections and can make car photos look nicer, see through the glass, etc.

I've found on black cars it can make them look a little different.

I used to use Collinite 476s but I've just started using opti seal and top up with megs quik wax.

Cheers smile

Ryan - they are slightly different to the s-special wheels, Obviously been replaced at some point.

The seats were just standard eunos seats, not sure if they were originally ones with headrest speakers, but these were just boggo ones.

I mainly changed the seats to get as low as possible with the rollbar, just in case of a rear end bump.

Plus, with harnesses, they would be ideal for track use, although I have never tracked the car to find out!!

Lovely MX. Makes me want to go and buy one!
Treat yourself - she's in the classifieds smile

She really is great fun to drive, the only thing that is making it a little easier for me to sell her is the fact that we will buying another Roadster. Otherwise I'd have kept her, and 4 years is the longest I have kept a car I think, lol!!

So, with typical timing - she has sprung a leak on me!!

Pulled up at a friends last night, having a quick chat outside and then heard a trickle of water! ! Bottom rad hose has sprung a leak!!

Annoying, but at least it happened whilst parked up, rather than when driving!!

A few of the other hoses look a little tired so I've got a complete set on order, should be a job well done!!

Just waiting on the recovery truck now!! I was told within the hour two hours ago, lol!!

Not bad though if the original hoses from 95 have finally perished in the hot weather.

You wonder if modern cars will last as well as 90's cars.
True, shouldn't be too upset about a 21 year old hose failing!! Not chancing the others though, so will replace all of them - false economy not to! Just waiting on my post man now!

Gives me some time to fiddle with my sc kit.

Sorted the hoses today, some of the others looked a little tired so was worthwhile.

Ended up replacing the thermostat and rad cap for good measure, as well as flushing out the old crap and cleaning the expansion bottle out. The feed tube to radiator was a bit sludged up.

Mazda's refill method is a bit annoying though, end up with coolant running all over the floor until the stat opens, lol!!

Good to go again now - thankfully it's still sunny down here smile
