Looks fun hehe

What supercharger are using? How much power are you expecting?
Rotrex Supercharger. As for power not 100% sure yet, I know what to expect though but I don't wish to jinx it hehe

Thank you for the kind comments people! I'll be sure to keep the thread updated.

fking bonkers.

These are 1l and 67hp right? I wonder what it'll put out when finished.

How do these handle? Have you made any modifications to the chassis/suspension?
Well it was always very fun to drive, but then I added wider wheels (the ones in the picture) and it really sticks to the road now. It has Bilstein dampers and Eibach pro springs..a pretty harsh ride but that's what I wanted and I love it smile

Also have an aluminium front strut to be fitted.

The Banzai one is still on the road. smile

As for BHP...it's all speculation at the moment! I'll find out on Monday and post the Dyno chart.

And yes, they're Yaris wheels.

EBC rear drum shoes
Interior panels replaced with dark black ones from 2013 model
Pioneer speakers all around, with a 2013 Toyota AYGO Pioneer headunit

Would/will fatter tyres up front change the Aygo's fun dynamics?
To be honest, i've found the car much more fun with wider and larger tyres. Grips enough to be able to handle much better but doesn't sap the pleasure out of driving it. Also what with the springs being lower, the bigger wheel also keeps the car at a near stock height. This is how it looked before I started modifying it:

Is the SC on an electronic clutch? I suppose that if you're genuinely mad, you didn't bother?
Ok

Love this! I'm so tempted to get an Aygo, and a charged one will be bonkers. I imagine you'll surprise a few people!

Part of me winced when I looked at the price of the kit though!
Well I had the money to buy a used car...but decided to go this route. I wanted something a bit different from the norm smile

Okay so the car will be ready tomorrow most likely, a couple of teething troubles. bhp at the wheels is 120+ so i'm not sure what that equates to in terms of BHP at the flywheel but should be about 140bhp i'm guessing.

Dyno and video will be up tonight smile

Well I got the car back...feels like a completely different car. The noise is quite a bit louder than stock but not deafening and has a lovely note which I was surprised by. 0-60 time is less than 8 seconds and it was remapped after the initial dyno and now has over 120bhp at the wheel, and Richard at TTS told me that the car has something in the region of 140bhp at the flywheel. There are a couple of minor ECU issues which will possibly be sorted at a later date but it it's minor. The car is an absolute hoot to drive now and i'm very happy with it. smile

Yes 3 cylinder.

What would be the best way to record the car? I don't have a fancy phone or anything so not sure! smile

Excellent!

Install looks top notch, the kit looks great.

However, as much as I salute your lunacy, and don't want to be the naysayer on such an awesome little project, I can't help but think that the power claims are a little optimistic. Over double stock power from a supercharger kit just seems a little generous. Did they dyno the car on their rollers beforehand as well?

Like I say, I think it's ace, and I personally wouldn't care what it was putting out as I suspect it drives brilliantly, smile
Yes, car was dyno'd beforehand. it had 54bhp at the wheels, 67bhp at the engine.

^ Will be going to more meets at a later date...very busy at the moment!

Hopefully will get the car finished up by the new year, it's mainly just the fitting of the new seats and a couple of other bits to be fixed - covered 1400 miles since getting it back and has been great. smile

Well the car is 99% finished now.

New clutch fitted
Fitting of Sparco seats
Rear seats retrimmed in matching Sparco material
Rear arches folded to prevent wheel rubbing.
And a general clean.

All works carried out by Fullbridge Restoration smile

Awesome Aygo! I have a Citroen C1 so I have really enjoyed reading about your project. I was just wondering what it's like to live with day to day and whether it has needed any extra maintenance to keep the charger running correctly?

All the best with the car
Nope, maintenance is pretty much the same - covered 4000 miles since the conversion and no problems (yet) ha.

Thank you for all of the kind words smile

Oh and I also have been meaning to fit a front strut brace to it...haven't got around to it yet! Should make a difference - not that handling has been a problem!
