Hi everyone, I would like to share my supra build which started end of 2012 with you guys.

I wanted to build a nice clean street car that would also compete on the track and keep the look close to stock as possible.

It started out as a stock 3.0 with a T51R kit.

Built has been carried out by SRD.

After discussing requirements with SRD a 3.4 stroker with a HKS T62r was decided upon, as the heart of the build.

Bodywork wise a NUR Motorsports widebody kit was purchased. The car then was sent to Autobody solutions... Plans then evolved as the work went on and this was the start of the build!

Full and final spec will Include:

SRD 3.4 stroker
SRD Race head and cams
HKS T62R Turbo Kit
Syvecs S8 management
Ikeya formula suspension
Custom HRE Widebody wheels
Etc..

Final spec will be released on completion.

Then decided to get the engine bay completely smoothed out, so it would be pretty unique to other builds here in the UK

Cut the stock inner wheel house outer off, bonded this to the new rear wing and welded in plates to fill the gap.

The car is now on it's way to SRD for the final build pieces to be put together and installed.

As of now the bodywork is 100% complete and here is how it stands for now:









No engine or interior yet, so looks a little high wink

I know to some people, white paint is just white paint, but that is a really, really good white. The only thing I don't like is the wheels, there are nicer wheels out there, but I'm guessing that perhaps these are not the final wheels the car will have?

Jamie is a popular guy here hey. He is the man if you want any tuning advice on Supra or GTR. Got allot of advice from him towards this build and mods. He now have a nice R35 GTR.

Same company that built his black Supra is building my car now.

Well, what's the point in having a base plan unless one is willing to bash through it :-D

Only widened the rear end in order to run slightly wider wheels for grip.

TRD diff ready to go in



We are going old school with the fuel pumps. smile

Tripple walbros in a billet hanger, they will be staged with two running all the time and the third only when needed. Pumps will be controlled by the Syvecs and fuel pressure monitored as well.

I really like this setup as the hanger is a work of art and it keeps the fuel lines nice and simple.

Turning our attention to the inside of the car, Simon did a great job of fitting the roll cage in and making the rear bars removable.

Wants to keep the rear seats usable so the rear cross bars are quick release. Will get more pics of the cage up once the interior goes in.

For now we have stripped the cage back out so we can work on it.





Despite the big power we still want to make the car drivable so the inside will be full trim with audio system.

We start by sound proofing the whole interior which will also help with heat from the engine bar and trans tunnel.

SRD V Band Manifold, will be getting Zircotec coated along with the turbo exhaust housing and down pipe.







Got the bits back from Zircotec, superb finish as always smile







Fitting for the brake lines, all stainless steel







Not sure if this has been done on a supra before but we are using quick release fittings for the rear brakes. Will be swapping over to NA brakes to put drag wheels on and these fittings mean that you can disconnect the brake line with out loosing fluid or needing to bleed the brakes.

Fuel tank fitted



Fuel lines and brake line running to the front





We have built a cover for the fuel and brake lines, this also houses a fuel cooler which is ducted.

The air can move through the cooler along the channel and out the hole at the back which will keep all the lines cool as well.





This will be painted white once finished
