So I've had my R35 nearly 4 weeks now!
Getting it to this: (so far!)
EDIT: Now looking like this...
Little video from the dyno off my facebook from a couple days ago:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1015203514283...
Been a busy boy, I think anyway. Learning about the cars and researching/ buying parts.
I wanted a full service for peace of mind, it wasn't due but a friend owns a garage and I like helping so why not!
My progress thread since taking ownership:
On the way to collect her, picked this up as didn't know what the 300mile return leg would be like
Exciting
Filled up for drive back, looking good, what does everyone complain abaout
Straight in for some attention
Miltek unresog y-pipe fitted
rear light kit
After a good clean
Let the modding begin:
vs standard 501 led bulbs in oem rear units
=
Crack on with the work another night
spacers fitted on standard springs: (and new rubber fitted!)
Gearbox opening up and piston clips fitted
( GTR/GR6 Valve Body TSB Clips ? Jacks Transmissions LLC)
Injectors:
Pollen filter is fun
Once gtc intakes fitted with injectors and downpipes time for map with ecutek cable
What a pig the downpipes were btw!!
Getting to rear shocks !
All done can now run some more boost :squintdan
Tints done
Alignment
Pulled in to the rolling road day and a friend of mine happened to have Martin down for mapping on some Skylines
Mine on:
Another coat of wax (putting her to work)
Car is only running a base stage 4 map atm, bit smokey, see video here from a couple days ago:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1015203514283...
Hopefully that'll decrease when Ben @ GTC has done me a custom map? Its ID's fitted.
Result so far....
Waiting for some carbon fibre goodies to arrive atm to smarten up the front end
Going to get some front brake pads too, if anyone can recommend any?
Cheers!

Really like these, well done OP
Just out of interest, what does the rear light kit do?
Standard not all 4 rings light:Just out of interest, what does the rear light kit do?

Great mod, the lights all lit look amazing as far as I am concerned, especially with the new bright led number plate bulbs
Loving life with the car
Had the custom map done by Ben @gtc so looking forward to having it rolling-roaded again soon to check it out now, and enjoying less black smoke
see this launch control video (tcs off) no longer a diesel gtr.. much!

Couple more bits:
Carbon fibre front splitter, still waiting for other CF goodies to arrive but thought i's get this fitted, with the new pads, before a meet I was attending yesterday..
new front pads fitted, these are the olds:
the inside ones were much lower than the outside which you can only spot when on a ramp really, so lucky we spotted that
Had my first real good burn in the car this weekend
testing out the 4x4 offroad
argghhhhh gotta love these 'enthusiastic' driving meets... splitter was only fitted yesterday!!
..sooo worth it though

Update
Carbon grille
fitting it was fun..
had a track day at Castle combe so picked up this cheap thing to destroy
Can conclude my car is quicker than a 458
Last pic of this rear end, goodies coming.
Forge bov and changing from IDs to Asnus hoping to get soot levels better
Horn testing with some ones i had from old cars scrap bumpers etc, the oem gtr one is embarrassing
speaker testing in the doors, supply ok as tested with some b&o out an S5, speakers themselves blown, both door units!
fitting bov
fitting tailpipes, thought about leaving them tip-less
map tweak from Ben @ gtc with the new injectors
fitting new spoiler, how about de-spoiler?!
coat of good old hd wax for a car show
my14 at the show:
couple of mine:
was lucky enough to get chosen to take a young cancer victim out for a spin
forgot about the stuff in the boot though!!

Was having a driving lesson earlier and went into Pennygillam Industrial Estate, doing some reversing and parking, etc, and to my surprise I caught a green glimpse out of the corner of my eye and instantly knew what it was coming from! Managed to drive closer and saw it a lot better! The car looks absolutely amazing now and all of the mods really suit it! Well done man!
