I have a 2.0 vectra b that I am converting into a pick up really just want some petrol heads ideas for making this happen ilike ways of adding support in chassis and body. The body support has now been done..one that I am a bit stumped on is the boot lid need it to go other way is the mounts I can buy for this ?
And how have people in the past made the back of the cab as I want a window. Pictures will follow soon cheers guys for any advice

The roof haven't been cut quite up to the support in middle so that's solid and will be when boot lid welded in I'm putting metal tubing throughout the body at the top which I'll put all the pics up but comp won't let me no more than that 1

May one ask, why?

Do you need a workhorse pick up and have a Vectra B lying around or just for fun / an experiment to get your hands dirty?
I'm a mechanic any way just an experiment really project for weekends
And the doors did open fine no movement but the are welded up now with a bar running from the front of the doors going backwards.
Think next it's make a frame to make it flat between the rear seats and boot making some of the frame for the back of the cab aswell

This is the start of my frame to flatten front half of bed got to add a few more support bars then got to go up from that then find at window section to fit on top and weld that on. And get steel checker plate to make the doors flat and make a good looking side wall for the bed
