My 1990 Mk2 Ford Orion zetec turbo.

Bodywork. . .

Resprayed in Ford Moonstone blue
Delocked all round
S2 RST bonnet and 90's spec front bumper
Saff boot spoiler
clear lights all round

Interior. . .

Retrimmed Recaros to match ghia trim
Flocked dashboard
A few vital gauges ( racetech )
Retrimmed Saff wheel, gearknob and gear gaitor

Wheels, suspension, brakes. . .

17 inch Borbet C's refurbed and painted in Bentley Tungsten Grey
Fitted with 205/40/17 Goodyear eagle F1's all round
Cossie front and rear brake set up
Polybushed all round
Adjustable TCA's
S2 Front and rear anti roll bars
Gaz coilovers

Engine. . .

2 Litre silvertop zetec turbo
uprated pistons, rods, valve springs etc
CDF cam pulleys
GRS fmic
Alloy rad with twin fans
Big Green cone air filter
Focus RS inlet
Focus RS exhaust manifold with Miltek downpipe and standard rebuilt FRS turbo charger
-31 actuator
Custom exhaust
044 motorsport fuel pump

Lots of new nuts, bolts, etc and detailed underside


















I bought it back in 2007 as a standard car...



A 4 year nut and bolt resto plus a few upgrades along the way had it hit the Ford show scenes in 2011...
It only comes out on good days and for shows...
Running a est 300bhp it's a giggle to drive...

Never sorry this was built to keep... Had one as my first car, 2nd, 3rd... Had a couple of Imprezas... Since then had another 3 Orions including this one.

Wheels are old skool Borbet C's... A great period wheel imo?

Bumper and bonnet are Series 2 Escort RS Turbo parts...
Needed to get the cool air in and the hot air out sorry...

Car upgrades have been put on hold due to a house move... Will get the few shows I have booked out the way and then get on with...





A full retrim in Escort RS turbo 90's spec trim...



New exhaust manifold still to bolt on...



Focus RS box conversion...



Still got some Focus Rs Brembos here to try and squeeze on up front...

Got plenty of garage space now at the new house... Will get there...

Deffo needed... I hid the twin fans between the intercooler and rad, don't like seeing fans poking out the bumper...



No pics to hand of it finished, but I do my best to hide stuff to keep the factory look...
You'd never guess it run a oil cooler...

Won some cheap Imolas to stick some sticky tires on for 0-60's...
They'll need spacing out abit, gonna refurb them over winter...









Quickly wiped over with alittle sealer and back to the Borbets...
