Hi all, havent seen much love for Rocco's on here - so thought Id start a thread for my latest car seeing as Ive just had it detailed today. Its a Scirocco 2.0TSI DSG with just about every option on there. Ive had it for just over a week now, but my last car was also a Scirocco - only a TDI 170 version.

My previous cars (all over the last two and a bit years):

E30 316i Touring Lux
E81 118d Msport
Focus ST2 225
200SX S13
Scirocco TDI 170

Spent far too much money on all of them.

Without further ado, here is the new one after a full days worth of machine polishing, washing and protecting.

And finally, the most important one;

Theres a few little niggles on it I want sorting. First of all the offside tail light is misting up all the time. Dont suppose anyone knows where to get a pair of rear lights from the R? If anyone knows of an R being broken for spares anywhere either that'd work.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, thanks.

Looks nice.

What's it like to drive compared to the last one?
Quicker wink

Handling etc is probably exactly the same (maybe a little worse as I had Goodyear Eagle F1's on the last one), but the engine is a hundred times more responsive. Economy is totally livable, and if you leave the DSG in auto mode the daily commute is a breeze.

Playing with the paddles and getting perfect downshift rev blips or that little rasp with WOT upchange is very, very addictive.

Not fussed on the lights, I prefer the standard look - but those paddles are very nice indeed.
