I bought this a while back but its been in storage until now. Having some Sabelt seats fitted and a half cage at present. Going to lose the red wheels and the 'dini stripes and badge as A5 as per the original French version and a Turbo R badge on the back - sort of R26R inspired style. Has an intercooled engine but not sure on the internal spec, polybushed and AVO suspension, lots of other nice touches. Completely rust free. Will post some more pics when I collect it.

2 owners ago built the car a few years back and never got it quite finished. Spent shed loads on it - even had Turbo 1 seats in it when last owner bought it which he sold for more than the car cost him! Has been stripped and resprayed I would assume and dry stored ever since. Need to track down the guy who built the engine, have been told it was built buy a highly reputed competition engine builder but no receipts or anything so got to go careful with the boost at first. Has a Saab intercooler and GT Turbo carb fitted . With GT Turbo internals which I'm hoping would be the minimum upgrade this engines easily make 200bhp with some decent boost. They really struggle to put that much power down. I'll start at 10 psi and go carefully to about a bar which will make about 170 bhp , more if the cam has been changed which was always a good mod on these engines.

Its got standard 'dini wheels so can't see the steering being overly heavy , my old one wasn't too bad. It's got 175/50's at the moment but going to change to something a bit higher profile and track focused like an A008 or R888.

Thanks for the kind comments. Haven't caught anybody out yet as its only just hit the road. Has rebuilt engine with better internals, intercooler conversion, uprated clutch. Should be pretty quick once the boost is set up they make 160 bhp-170bhp at a bar of boost and it weighs under 800kg , won't stop and handle like a modern hatch but sure it will shock them in a straight line :0)

Haven't weighed it but I would estimate about 750kg. Makes the power to weight ratio easy to work out too :0)- 160 bhp for 200 bhp per ton

I made that mistake with a previous one I had about 10 years ago, made 190 bhp 190 ft/lbs at 16 psi boost but was a proper handful and would spin up in 4th gear when it was wet on boost. Only looking to run 170 bhp max this time.
