Started off in this forum with...

I first started looking for my second car after a year of owning the KA and in the last couple of months had pretty much decided on a Mk7 Ford Fiesta in either Zetec or Zetec S form. By chance I was browsing a dealer's site and come across a Fiat Bravo which I know is not everyone's cup of tea however it caught my attention!

Roll on...

I looked at a couple of these after I saw this one pop up and this seemed a really nice example, tons of history and in very good condition! The reviews knock it for its steering and handling which granted isn't the sharpest and most involving however I am pleased and can live with that. Coming from a Ford KA, the 150hp this churns out has a nice bit of poke.

Anyone on here got one or any experience of the Bravo? Not sure what my plans are for it, I do intend to keep it for a few years if all goes well.

Looks nice, always quite liked the look of these.

A fair bit more powerful than the Ka- how does the insurance compare?
It cost a fair whack of £200 to change over from the KA, come renewal time I'm hoping it is more reasonable with 2 years NCB.

Well it is still with me, one clutch and flywheel later!

For awhile it looked like this with the black bumper, but my cheap plastidip paint work didn't last very long before it started peeling so off it came, I may use some Vinyl wrap to replicate it.

More recently on a quick break away a couple of weeks ago I drove down to Paris for a few days with my Girlfriend and on the way back out decided to revisit a couple of sites for another photo or two this time with the car...

We've had one of these in the family for several years now. Reliable workhorse (now on 80k) and quite good fun on the right roads. Ours has the optional 18s, which I don't think look as good as yours and make the ride pretty rough.

Has only let me down once - a few weeks ago - when the original battery died. Always liked Fiats - my current daily is a Panda 100HP. Flimsy trim is the only minor gripe I ever have.

Mine has dual-zone climate control, which I hadn't realised was an option. Does yours have the full Bluetooth and hands-free prep? Perhaps that was an option too.
Sorry for the late revival must have missed your reply! It has the Blue & Me system which allows full handsfree phone function over Bluetooth, supposedly the system would allow you to stream music but isn't compatible with newer phones. Streaming music comes through the Blue & Me USB port with a small dongle type adaptor which goes for around £40 and allows the use of the steering wheel controls to select music.

I personally prefer the look of the 18s, the wheels on mine are not in the best condition. Current plans for this are to keep it for another year or two and do little bits here and there whilst saving for a deposit on a house then potentially a Focus ST or Golf R although I am sure that will all change by next week.
