I know these arnt the most loved cars but im a vw man! full heated leather air con sunroof and electric everything!
oh and the 'noise' £1500!
people tell me why don't you so this or slam it or change this, but im happy im not one for keeping cars for a long time, call it boredom. I think I enjoy looking for and buying cars more than owing them!

But obviously it rusts like a rusty thing and turns petrol into noise and not a lot else, its not slow but its well documented that its no hot hatch

but its now under my skin, like all my cars ive owned ive loved them all not in spite of their imperfections but because of them!!
Except one..im looking at you MG ZR!!

anyway the pics are from when I bough the car, (note the Forrester STI in the back round which the previous owner bought to replace the golf..jealous!)

oh and it is a genuine highline

It's also amusing if someone does ask what engine is in there and find it somewhat baffling that there is a 2.9L living in there, which 9/10 leads to "that must use a lot of fuel" whilst I'm thinking I'd love to make it a >3.2
Yeah I've had people say a lot about fuel consumption, usually non car people who judge how good a car is by the mpg figure, which is a bit dull. mines actually a 2.8 the 2.9 only came in the corrado which was 1st on my list but clean vr's are now getting a bit pricey.

also had people ask me what car the engine originally came out of? some people cant believe that VW once made a 2.8l 6 cylinder golf which sounds like thunder, I think they assumed they were all 1.4s.
