Alright Guys,

Been a long time lurker, thought I would introduce myself.

My names Harry I'm from Maidenhead Berkshire and I have some what an RS addicition!

It all started when I was 19 when I swapped my MK2 Golf 16v for my first Series 1 Rs turbo.

This car really tested me, blew the engine twice got it rebuilt and ended up selling for financial reasons and always regretted it.

Since then I've had various hot hatches from VXR's to E46 M3's even a B5 RS4 which I also regret selling but it made way for this beauty...

An Escort Cosworth Monte finished in Jewel Violet she is number 58 of a total of 200 production cars and covered only 46k from new. I believe only 25 were made in this colour all together and fewer RHD cars. This is also a special car as it was a Brooklyn's car from new which consisted of going straight from the factory to brooklyns and having a full stage 3 conversion on the engine.

Here is my track toy as well which has still yet to be finished but she's very fast indeed boasting a GT30 turbo and in need of a map she will be around the 450 bhp mark, I've had a few Mk1 Focus RS's and have to say they are very addictive!

I also have an E36 M3 Evo as my daily which is stunning and a Series 1 RS turbo which I will be picking up on the weekend. I look forward to attending some meets come show season, is there any frequent ones quite close to the Berkshire area?

Thanks Harry

She's around 330bhp, she does go well but I prefer the drive of the focus myself!

Hi Harry

nice collection of cars you have !

i'm from Windsor myself, drop me a PM if you fancy going for a drive sometime !
Hi Aaron,

That would be great mate, I'm hoping to get the escos back out in the middle of April after a full service etc so we will have to do a Sunday drive out if you fancy. Can possibly see who else is up for it on the Pheads community.

The Mk1 RS is by far the best looking fast Ford ever made, looks way better than the Escort imo.
I do agree it's a good looking car but for me it's the Series 1 that I believe is the best looking. You can not beat them!

Thanks for the kind comments people, I'm looking forward to summer so I can hopefully use them more!!

Out of all the above I would say the Focus is my favourite just for the sheer thrill of the drive. Great cars.

It sounds like you do have a passion for Fords! What a lovely collection!

I have to ask, what makes the Focus more fun for you over the Escort?

The S1 RST is a great choice but I would not biased at all here wink.
Thanks for the comments guys, I'm off work next weekend so plan is to get them all MOT'd and back on the road.

I think the focus is a more rewarding car to drive, you have to really be on your toes to drive it well! It don't drive like your typical FWD and handles really really well!

Picked up the series 1 over the weekend and have to say she is stunning! Done 63k near enough fully documented history and pretty much all original bar a power engineering exhaust.

If you are going in the M3 I won't bother going!
But that Escos looks fantastic!
Lovely collection.
I would love to take the Escos but she's due an MOT and full service or she would be going!
