My French 80's classic
Discussion
Its going too be used sparingly, got a few shows planned and it's being featured with another couple of special 5 Turbos in EVO car magazine soon
After spending so much on it recently it would be a shame to hide it away again, does it no good just sat around like it has been previously

Got lots of pictures of all the work, the only thing that hasn't really been changed are the pads & discs + bushes(as they were still very good)
New blueprinted AVO classic suspension all round, fuel tanks under the seats out & cleaned, new fuel senders, all the fluids changed including 3 cooling system flushes, new water pump & thermostats, new coil + ignition leads, complete service, 3 new Bosch fuel pumps, new injection lines + injection system overhaul, stainless exhaust system(Devil copy)new injector clips & seals, new bulbs all round, most of the relays changed,boost/ timing & ignition all checked and back to factory specs
Bumpers & side skirts removed and painted back to Renault grey 614 refitted using genuine Renault bolts etc & while they were off the bodywork behind was cleaned & sealed, all lights removed & cleaned behind, restored wing mirrors & passenger door reinforced inside as per the drivers door to stop doorskin cracking(common prob) new headlining(old one had sagged badly) custom set of mats, new cibie front fog lamps with black covers
Then around 60 hrs of detailing work, all panels wet sanded back, all exterior badges & rubbers restored, interior seats & carpets all cleaned
Nanolex products used on everything apart from the bodywork as the paint was too old for it too bond too & could have damaged the paintwork.........probably forgot quite a lot, but basically anything that looked old or worn was removed, replaced or restored
