Lotus Elise S2 111S
Discussion
This is the replacement for my old Megane R26, and I chuffing love it. It's not a weekend toy, I commute 60miles a day in it, hardcore.
Had some time this weekend to give the car a proper wash and take some photos as I've been too busy driving it and enjoying it.
Just a few quick snaps, nothing extravagant.
Lotus Elise S2 111S, so 160bhp in a 725kg tin can. Short ratio box and a 2bular exhaust sat on Nitron suspension means it's an absolute riot to drive.
I've got the soft roof on at the minute, as let's face it, driving around attracting attention makes owning something like this even more worth while. (plus the females love it)
If you could click on a few links so my views spike, I'd be grateful

Half the running costs of an R26?? You'd be mad not to use it as a daily! I'm thinking of getting an R26 at the end of the year but the costs are putting me off slightly, how wallet-draining are they to run?
I do about 1200 miles a month and it was 29mpg average, coupled with the prices for parts and servicing it wasn't too bad. The Elise makes it seem mega expensive, though.Had a run out to Blyton a few Sunday ago with two others and the weather was nice...

Still loving the car and still can't stop driving it.

Looking v nice Feirny, I know we're talking 4-5 years ago now but I used to attend the TOPO meets back when I had a 172 cup, you attended in a Trophy if I recall, I'm sure you've had a motor or two since that but I bet this is an amazing drive compared to the ol' Clio's (still a hoot to drive though themselves!)
I remember mate! I had a Trophy a few years back, had a Fabia vRS, RB 182 and a Megane R26 since then. This is the best car I've driven aside from the Trophy, this may surpass it but there's time yet.
Few updated pics from this evening, mainly for the winter wheels and interior shots for the advert, as it's now for sale

You not getting on with it? If I were to have another S2 it would be this exact car. Great spec and colour for whoever gets it plus non of that servo'd braked nonsense too.
More than getting on with it, I bloody love it. It's just I'm doing 2k per month in it and I need to free up a little cash. If it sells it sells, if it doesn't then I'll keep using it. No rush to sell.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
