Great looking car! Lovely colour for it.
I haven't driven one yet but my mum has a TTS coupe on order so hopefully I soon will.

One of these passed me going in the opposite direction the other day and I have to say what a good looking car (nice colour as well), very nice. Hope it treats you well.

I took a TTS coupe home last night and was kind of disappointed. It is well built, and it's a nice place to be, it has great accelaration and grip but I just felt a bit uninvolved.
It's also horrendously complicated and I kept finding new buttons but still don't know how to get the radio to dispay DAB track/artist info.
And who thought that having the rear spoiler go up at 80mph wasn't going to be a hint that I either am or have recently been travelling just a bit faster than the number on the stick suggests?
It does take bit of learning to be sure, but after a week, not only is it making sense, but I'm not sure how I'll cope in a "normal" car like wife's A1 (#firstworldproblem)It's also horrendously complicated and I kept finding new buttons but still don't know how to get the radio to dispay DAB track/artist info.

And OP, I'll tell you this now so you don't rip your hair out over the course of a few weeks like I did... When you turn off traffic announcements, you are only turning them off for that ONE station! There is no way to turn them off for every station other than wasting lots of time and swearing a lot.
I've solved this problem by never turning them on - never have, never will on any car, but have seen the TA problem discussed elsewhere.theholygrail said:
Lovely car OP. These MK3s do look sharp. Am amazed heated seats aren't standard, especially on an S model. They were on my MK1 and are on the MK2s. I've just bought a MK2 coupe V6 DSG as my daily and am loving it in every way. I know they may not be THE most involving car but it does so many things really well and the interior is just lovely. It's also streets ahead of the MK1 I had some years ago, specifically the suspension. Enjoy.
Thank you.Yes, bit more expensive; loved my Mk2 TFSI; I don't really buy into the involvement / or lack thereof thing tbh - compared to cheap / knackered stuff I drove when I was younger it's amazing. A 20 year old Saab 99 with shagged suspension and a flatspot from 2500 to 4000 is pretty uninvolving :-)
