This thing is just something else.

Frank - have you ever considered shipping the car over to the 'ring? I bet that would be a fun couple of weeks. I'm sure many of us would love to see some footage of that.
Screw the ring, there are so many better roads to drive here in California. The thought of the shipping hassle and expense makes zero sence to me...

But I hope you liked my little video and subscribe to my Youtube channel for newer videos... Details on the car can be found here www.roninrs211.com

I'm sure there are many better roads to drive in a subjective sense, but none that provide a better objective and replicable metric of a car's performance?

I have enjoyed the videos of the car very much. Mr Leno seemed to be impressed. Unfortunately i haven't seen anything that provides a better sence of the car's abilities.

Love the car. Right up my street.
Thanks, the thing is I built my car for the roads I drive and the speeds I feel comfortable at. Driving on a track proves nothing about the car since it is all about the driver.
Great drivers can pull better times than the average driver in any car, so track times mean nothing.
Let's just say the Rs211 cruises between 30-1?? with ease in the canyons and mountains.

The thing is you have no idea how fast I'm driving in the canyons without seeing the speedo....and you never will.
There is no drama with steering corrections and late braking simply because there is no need..

Have a look and listen to a fellow Brit/Aussie Lotus owner-driver's candid reaction to the car after a little cruise in the twisties.. cool

Here's Indy racer and former Lotus racer Townsend Bell's candid feeling about the old slow-heavy car... biggrin

Massive fan of your work, been following this project since way back!
Thanks guys, I can't believe I still own and drive this car but truth be told it has been three different cars over the last 11 years...

I never want to push the car to its limits because to find them you need to screw up and then back it down a notch. I'd rather not find it.

No molds for the body means a lot of work and I'm too old to do this again.... biggrin

Oh yeah I still haven't come across any other cars that could keep up with me while I'm just crusing in the canyons.. The car is just that good.cool
