Mini JCW GP2 (daily)
Discussion
Well.... I fancied a new daily driver - but it had to meet certain requirements and this is what I ended up with
I wanted something fairly new, not too bad on fuel, comfortable, reasonable running costs, fun and that felt a bit special on the commute. And I'm pleased with the outcome
2013, GP2 approved used from Mini dealer, remainder of TLC pack, running road tyres (Conti-sports) and in absolutely immaculate condition throughout. 27k miles - looks, drives and feels superb.

Looks good, what's the unit below your window controls?
These came out whilst I was working at a MINI dealer and I was lucky enough to use one for a few days, it was an absolute hoot, great fun. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.
Thanks! It's just a ScanGauge so that I have an idea of engine temp (and also intake temp, voltage, Manifold Pressure and loads of other stuff) and does fault code scanning etc too. These came out whilst I was working at a MINI dealer and I was lucky enough to use one for a few days, it was an absolute hoot, great fun. Hows life with the mini?
Really really fancy one of these as a fun daily
Sorry for the delayed reply :OReally really fancy one of these as a fun daily
All good, car is now just shy of 35k miles and used every day. Handles the commute fine and been utterly faultless.
May have to move on to something else soon with some more interior space and I'm now too broad in the shoulder for the car so can't sit properly in the driver seat. Sounds like the most rediculous egotisitcal excuse ever but actually true. It's that or try Lohen's lightweight door cards to free up an extra inch but that might not quite be enough. ;(
